I Am Royal Program changing lives

Valdosta Nissan has been hard at work in the Valdosta Housing Authority Community Centers I Am Royal Program changing lives and making an impact. Community Affairs, Public Relations and VIP Manager Kam Stevenson, lovingly known as RadioKam, mentors at Pinevale Elementary School and has been spotted in the community itself handing out pizza slices, manna boxes and lately haircuts!

Kam is the Founder of Fresh Koncepts a program focused on positively impacting social, emotional, financial and reading literacy. Kam has partnered with local barbershop owner Derrick Powell to bring a new charismatic way to get children behaving properly in the Community Centers of Hudson Dockett and Ora Lee West.

Derrick has been in business for 10 years and is the proud owner of Blendz Barbershop. He has committed to driving his beautifully decorated Blendz Mobile Bus into the community once per month to reward the top ten students a free haircut!

While the children are waiting to be served they were provided a crisp $1 bill in order to tip their barber. This dollar represents a lifestyle of honor and being honored! This is a message that the youth of Valdosta Housing Authority will be able to take with them throughout their lives.

We want to say thank you to the Village at Valdosta Nissan for all that they are doing for our youth!!!
